Em bé mới sinh ở Tây Ninh có bốn cánh tay

| Người dân ấp Chòm Dừa, xã Đồng Khởi, huyện Châu Thành, Tây Ninh, đang xôn xao với tin chị Lê Thị Ngọc Giàu, 23 tuổi, vừa sinh một bé trai có tới bốn cánh tay.
Chị Lê Thị Ngọc Giàu cho biết bé Nguyễn Trung Luyền là con thứ ba của chị, mới được hơn 20 ngày tuổi. Lúc mang thai khoảng 4-5 tháng, chị có đến BV Đa khoa Tây Ninh khám, phát hiện thai nhi có một chân bị teo, bác sĩ có khuyên nên đến BV Từ Dũ (TP.HCM) để bỏ thai.
Sau đó, chị có đến BV Từ Dũ khám lại, thấy thai nhi chỉ bị teo một chân (không phát hiện có bốn cánh tay) và do không đủ tiền làm phẫu thuật bỏ thai nên chị trở về nhà. Vợ chồng chị dự tính sau khi sinh sẽ điều trị chân teo cho cháu nhưng không ngờ khi chào đời cháu còn có thêm hai cánh tay phụ.
Cháu bé mới sinh có khuôn mặt khôi ngô nhưng ngoài hai cánh tay bình thường, bên ngực trái của bé còn có thêm hai cánh tay nhỏ hơn nằm úp vô thân hình. Mỗi bàn tay của tay phụ cũng có năm ngón cùng với móng tay, lông tay đầy đủ nhưng đều không cử động được. Phía dưới hai cánh tay phụ còn có một khối u tròn.
Cha của chị Giàu là ông Lê Văn Mực, hiện sống ở huyện Tân Biên, Tây Ninh. Theo lời ông Mực, từ năm 1961 đến 1975, ông từng tham gia kháng chiến chống Mỹ, hành quân trên nhiều vùng bị rải chất độc da cam. Sau ngày miền Nam giải phóng, gia đình sinh sống ở xã Hòa Hiệp, huyện Tân Biên - khu căn cứ Trung ương Cục miền Nam trước đây. Ngoài chị Giàu, ông Mực còn có người con trai tên Lê Văn Sang, bị ảnh hưởng chất độc da cam, liệt một cánh tay từ khi mới sinh.
Các bác sĩ cho biết trường hợp cháu Luyền có thể giải phẫu được nhưng chi phí khá tốn kém. Hiện nhà chị Giàu rất nghèo, ngoài căn nhà tôn nhỏ xíu, vợ chồng chị không có ruộng vườn, tài sản nào khác. Hai đứa đầu tuy không bị dị tật gì nhưng cũng nay ốm, mai đau. Chồng chị Giàu làm nghề thợ hồ để kiếm tiền nuôi năm miệng ăn.
Việc giải phẫu cho cháu bé là điều rất cần thiết để cứu một sinh linh bé nhỏ.
